Versatility
In Infinity CodeOne, the number of Orders measures the level of maneuverability and performance an army possesses. An Order is a game concept that allows you to activate a troop and bring them to the battle: The more Orders an army has, the more maneuverable it is give you more opportunities to activate your troops.
Each troop included in your army list provides one Order to your pool. That is to say, the more troops in your army, the more Orders you will have at your disposal each turn. Orders expand the range of possibilities during the game, as they can be freely managed since there is no limit for assigning orders to the same troop. This way, you will be able to adapt your strategy to each game situation and change the tactics as needed, with an impressive amount of versatility each turn.
“It’s always your turn”
Thanks to the ARO (Automatic Reaction Order), we can say that it’s always your turn. This mechanic is undoubtedly one of the most notable features of Infinity CodeOne.
During your opponent's turn, each time they activate one of their troops with an Order, you can react with your own troops.
Perhaps you are used to watching without doing anything, while your opponent plays his turn, and waiting for your moment to play. With the ARO, you can never let your guard down because the action never rests. You will experience a more dynamic game!
The keys of Success are just a roll away
In Infinity CodeOne, 20-sided dice are used to determine if a troop succeeds when performing an action, whether it is peppering your opponent with gunfire, or hacking a remote. To do this, the game mechanics relies on two types of rolls: Normal and Face-to-Face Rolls.
A Normal Roll is a basic roll in Infinity CodeOne. It is the type of roll that you make when the troop is not facing off against an opponent and only needs to measure its own effectiveness when using a certain Skill. On the other hand, Face-to-Face Rolls are used when two or more troops from opposing sides confront each other, and you want to know which of them is acting before and more effectively, achieving their objective against the adversary.
Scalability and replayability
Infinity CodeOne allows you to adapt the table size and army points to the game. Thus, you can play games from 15 to 30 points on tables from 24''x 32'' to 48''x 48''. These variations will allow you to enjoy different game modes and use different strategies to transform each game into a unique experience. You will be able to adapt to more closed fights where the melee and the short-range weapons will give you an edge or you will consider games on a larger scale where a troop with a Sniper Rifle and an eagle nest will terrorize your enemy.
