Hey there! Remember that image we shared with you months ago, telling you to “Think Big” for GenCon? Well, as you’ve seen over the past few weeks, we weren’t just hinting at a couple of amazing TAGs – there’s a whole lot more! Let’s dive into all the thrilling announcements we’ve made this summer for Infinity. Come along and join the excitement!
First off, let’s talk about the most eye-catching part of our summer promo image: two brand-new TAGs made of plastic resin, debuting at Gen Con for Infinity! We’re thrilled to introduce a fresh version of PanOceania’s Tikbalang and an exciting new TAG for JSA, the Mechazoid Sokorentai. You might think these choices are a bit random, but trust us at CB, we never do anything without a reason. Stay tuned to find out more!
And this is where the Infinity party truly begins! Buckle up and get ready for an epic adventure! On July 23rd, we dropped the first trailer for our debut animated series: Infinity Paradise Lost. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out below. You won’t want to miss this!
Get ready for an exciting adaptation of our favorite game, brought to life by the renowned animation studio Lex+Otis! Set before the First Contact with the Combined Army in Paradiso, it stars Kassad, a member of the Hassassin society of Haqqislam, and Dania, a mysterious woman caught up in a thrilling and dangerous plot. Expect plenty of silk, cubes, smugglers, and the looming threat of the Combined Army to keep you on the edge of your seat. We don’t have the release date or platform details just yet, but we’ll keep you updated. We hope you’re as excited about this announcement as we are!
As if that crazy announcement wasn’t enough, the very next day we introduced Sibylla, our awesome AI Assistant! You can ask her anything you want to know about Infinity’s background. How cool is that?
In the future we will improve Sibylla and it will be able to answer more and more of your questions, we hope it will be useful to you!
During that time, we also had another huge announcement: our very first official painting competition! And it’s not just any contest—there are cash prizes up for grabs! We’re so proud and excited to invite all the talented painters from the Infinity community to showcase their amazing work from all around the world. There’s still time to join in; you have until August 16th to participate!
Think we’ve had enough big announcements? Well, guess what—there’s more! On July 27th, we officially presented the Infinity Paradise Lost series at none other than San Diego Comic-Con! The animation studio team, the voice actors of the main characters, and the Corvus Belli staff were all there. They shared how the idea for the animated series came about, some fun facts, spoilers, and even a sneak peek of the first chapter. Plus, every attendee at the panel received an exclusive miniature of Kassad, the main character of the series. How awesome is that?
And if that wasn’t enough, Gen Con arrived! As always, Corvus Belli had a booth at the biggest American gaming event, where we officially launched Warcrow, our brand-new fantasy wargame. But Infinity also stole the spotlight in a big way! During the seminar on Saturday, August 3rd, we dazzled everyone with previews of upcoming releases. Plus, Jay Oliva, the director of Lex+Otis, joined us to talk about the animated series, share an exclusive clip, and give away a Kassad miniature to each attendee. How amazing is that?
And also we decided to make a big announcement: Infinity N5.
And this isn’t just any announcement—we’re thrilled to reveal that Infinity N5 is coming later this year! In just a few months, the new edition of Infinity will be here, and we’re focusing on polishing this gem of a wargame. We’ll be fixing things that need tweaking, revising vanilla armies, reviewing troop profiles, and improving our product design.
The big news for this edition is that the plot moves forward 5 years. Through one of the wormholes that appeared in Concilium during the events of Endsong, PanOceania and JSA discover a new habitable planet with valuable resources. But here’s the twist—during this journey, JSA betrays PanO and claims this new planet, naming it Shinju, as their own. With this move, JSA will no longer be part of the NA-2 conglomerate and will become a major faction in its own right. And that’s not all! JSA will come with two sectorial armies: Ōban, which is basically the JSA we know now in N4, and Shindenbutai, featuring new troops closely tied to the new planet they have to defend.
And of course, a big release like a new edition needs products to match and that's why we are going to accompany the release of Infinity N5 with a new Battle Pack for two players that will be set on this new planet and will face the 2 factions we were talking about before: PanOceania and JSA. By the way, do you see now how the release of Tikbalang and Mechazoid made sense? ;)
And we’ve heard your questions, so let’s clear this up: CodeOne will not continue with the release of N5. But don’t worry, we’ve got something even better! Introducing Infinity Essentials—a new way to dive into the game that captures the spirit of CodeOne. This closed product line includes the basics for each army, making it easy for new players and retailers to know what to get started with. Each Essentials box comes with a handy how-to-play guide to take new players through the Infinity N5 adventure. And yes, those awesome profile cards you saw at the Gen Con demos will be included in the Essentials boxes! We’ll keep you posted on when these entry-level products will be available.
