This season, after the pandemic forced us to readapt our lives and made it impossible to hold any type of tournament, we're bringing back the Satellite tournaments.
And we can say loud and proud that it's been a triumphant return. More than 30 Satellite tournaments have been held and are being held during the 14th season of the ITS (Infinity Tournament System). With incredible participation and with table after table of players enjoying Infinity, these tournaments have brought back the ITS splendor that the pandemic took away.
But the current season is coming to an end, with the highlight being the celebration that is the Interplanetary. For that reason, it's time to gaze up to the skies in search of new satellites in the celestial vault. Who knows? Maybe your tournament could be that satellite.
Once again, we're opening the application period for Satellite tournaments!
Satellite Tournaments are large tournaments, in which the winner will earn a guaranteed spot for the next Interplanetario. In addition, Corvus Belli will support these tournaments with a generous amount of exclusive prizes and gifts, as well as special promotions on our channels. These tournaments are truly special for us and for you, the players!
That being said, the registration period to submit applications and to have your tournament be considered as a Satellite tournament for the 15th season of ITS is now officially open. From today until July 31st, you can send your applications to the email: its.satellite@corvusbelli.com
In that email, you should tell us:
- The organizer's name.
- The country and city of the event.
- The date of the event.
- The estimated number of players (tournaments with a participation rate of 40 players or more are valued).
- A brief summary of your experience organizing events (pictures of previous events are valued).
- Why should your tournament be a Satellite tournament?
When determining the date for your proposed tournament, please keep in mind the preparation time needed for the winner to travel to the Interplanetario. That logistics issue requires some margin. Keep in mind that the Interplanetario will take place in mid-August. Therefore, to be accepted, a Satellite tournament must be held between September 1st, 2023, and July 15th, 2024.
Once the submission period is over, all proposals will be evaluated, with the new Satellite tournaments being announced a few days later.
