Halloween at Infinity: Survive the Night with Our "Survival Horror" Scenario (Free Download)

Do you feel that chill? Halloween night has arrived in the Human Sphere, and at Corvus Belli we're celebrating with this truly terrifying narrative campaign. Get your dice ready and gather your team, because we present to you Infinity Survival Horror, a special free scenario where cooperation will be your only hope.

In this article, we explain what this new game mode is about, how to play it, and what you need from your collection to face the darkest night on "Planet Terror".

In a joint operation for bureau aegis, a team of spec-ops from various backgrounds under o-12 coordinated command has been sent on a secret mission to a region as remote as it is inhospitable. However, a sudden electromagnetic storm has brought down their shuttle in an isolated area,
and now these four spec-ops must try to report their situation and reach the extraction zone to return to base. A seemingly simple task for a group of professionals like them. What they don’t know is that something out there is hunting them, and it won’t stop until it takes their heads as bloody trophies.
Night has fallen, and they will soon discover why this region is marked on their comlog maps as “planet terror.”

What is Infinity Survival Horror?

In this mission, a total of 4 Spec-Ops must cooperate to activate the four extraction antennas and return to the extraction zone in time and in one piece. Each player has only a single Spec-Ops from the faction of their choice. The Slasher will be their enemy and will try to prevent the Spec-Ops from escaping alive. This Slasher works automatically and autonomously, but we recommend that an additional person takes on the role of the villain and enjoys terrifying the Spec-Ops.

How do you play?

Infinity Survival Horror changes the usual rules to offer a tense, fast-paced, and terrifying experience, ideal for a Halloween night with friends:

  • Cooperative Mode: It is designed for up to 4 people to play, where each controls a single Survivor Spec-Ops from the faction or Sectorial of their choice.

  • The Villain ("Slasher"): The enemy is the Slasher, which can be controlled by a fifth person (ideal for someone who enjoys terrifying their friends!) or function entirely automatically thanks to decision trees included in the rules.

  • The Objective: The Spec-Ops must survive 10 rounds, repair and activate 4 Extraction Antennas, and fully reach the Extraction Zone. The Slasher wins if they manage to render all Spec-Ops Unconscious or if the time limit runs out.

  • Loot and Upgrades: Across the map, there will be Spec-Boxes that players can open to get automatic upgrades for their profiles or special skills.

Meet Your Nightmares: The Slashers

The scenario includes profiles and autonomous behaviors for three of the deadliest monsters:

  • Terrifying Dog-Warrior: Maddened by an uncontrollable rage after breaking a nail in an Illegal Experiments S.L.facility. It will jump on you, destroying everything in its path in close combat.

  • Terrifying Morat Hunter: A crazed Morat who hates pineapple pizza (and you). It will stalk you from the shadows with its Viral Tactical Bow and Drop Bears.

  • Terrifying Triphammer: A RocaWorks pilot opened an ancient sarcophagus and now their TAG is possessed. It uses a die roll (D20) every order to unleash a random arsenal that includes heavy shotguns and flamethrowers.

What Corvus Belli products do you need to play?
