Summer is here, the heat is here and, as in every August, the event par excellence in the USA arrives: GenCon. This event is always important for us, and it is usually an event that we have marked in red on the calendar, because we always bring out big news. This year the launch of Warcrow (with its book and battle box) is in the spotlight, but Infinity is not far behind!
As we did last year, we are releasing 2 very special TAGs, now made both in resin plastic, the same material we used in the two recent Special ITS Packs (Marut & Agammenon). For those of you who don't know, TAGs (Tactical Armoured Gear) are single-seat armored weapons platforms. They are characterized by their humanoid, arachnoid, or avian-like forms, which gives them an advantage when in an off-road environment. TAGs are designed to have a higher range of mobility and maneuverability to that of the human body. They are much less bulky than any light infantry support armor and almost as fast. In a nutshell, TAGs are huge, fast, lethal, and resilient war machines at your disposal. Most importantly, they are ready to be the spearhead in your army list!
And who are this year's featured TAGs? Well, they are part of two of the most popular factions: PanOceania and JSA.
TIKBALANG ARMORED CHASSEURS BRIGADE

PanOceania’s excellence in the art of TAG warfare goes beyond just the machine, beyond its design and engineering, since it also applies to the specific ways it uses them, assigning these mecha to a variety of tactical roles rather than limiting them to being a primary combat unit, a mere modern-day substitute for a battle tank. The Stingray Series’ engineers focused on developing a lightweight chassis for a compact TAG that could perform a variety of functions depending on the quantronics and weaponry it was fitted with. After the success of Series 3, it seemed that there wasn’t much that a Series 4 could add. But once again, Moto.tronica managed to impress everyone with a solution that answered the needs of the PanOceanian Military Complex, especially after the Combined Army pushed back the front lines during the Paradiso Third Offensive.
The Armored Chasseurs are nicknamed “Tikbalangs”, which are powerful half-man, half-horse mythical creatures from Philippine folklore. This regiment uses Stingray Series 4 model TAGs, which can be adapted to combat in the jungle and in dense forests, as well as to combat in the desert. Their tactical role is perfectly matched by their weaponry: a general-purpose machine gun with a high rate of fire, a flamethrower that’s deadly in close combat and can also help to clear the vegetation around a hidden foxhole, anti-personnel mines to carry out ambushes, and a melee weapon that allows them to handle any contingency at close range.
This box includes a plastic resin miniature of the Tikbalang. Providing your PanOceanian force with one of the most versatile and agile light TAGs this army has at its disposal, you will be able to adapt and reposition in very few Orders to keep hunting the enemy.

Mechazoid Sōkōrentai
Emblazoned with the national banner, the Mechazoid Sōkōrentai (メカゾイド 装甲連隊, Mechazoid Armored Regiment) are the guardians and the armored shields of Greater Independent Japan’s cities. Their main duty is to protect the major urban centers and the most important military facilities from both enemies and MegaBeasts. But they are also the sword of the JSA in the outer territories, fending off any foreign power reckless enough to threaten the sovereignty of their country.
Standing nearly ten feet tall and sporting a sleek, futuristic chassis, these powerful humanoid war machines are packed with a diverse array of weapons specifically designed to deal with all kinds of kyojin: rapid-fire weapons to eliminate the fastest ones, nanotech-ammo blasters to kill the most resilient ones, or armor-piercing projectiles to take down those with the thickest plates. Not to mention of course their massive bladed weapons, which they put to good use when the action gets up close and personal and the Mechazoids honor their country’s glorious warrior tradition to become a kind of mecha-samurai. Every pilot in this TAG unit is proficient not only in operating these bulky fight machines but also in the deadly Japanese martial arts. It’s their formidable combination of skills that puts them on equal footing with both the brutal kyojin and any other adversary, no matter how powerful or technologically advanced.

Not for nothing are they specialists in eliminating the titanic MegaBeasts, so just imagine what they can do against your enemy's forces.
