ZONDBOTS
Zondbots are a guaranteed hit! These are not just cute little robots, these are miniature metal heroes. They dash in and out of combat to save a life or repair a vehicle so that others can keep fighting or find refuge. I’m talking role models.

Can you think of a better message for kids? And their design! Never mind creepy spiders crawling about, these are spry little knights with colorful armors. They don’t look like they’ve been designed for the military at all! More like the marketing department of a toy company.
Speaking of, how about a merchandising line? I’m talking holo-pets, cyberbuddies, clothing, school equipment—the whole enchilada. And that’s just from a Maya multishow. I’m seeing two Zondbots, Medic and Engineer, with clashing personalities. They fight evil aliens, have wacky adventures… It’s the perfect recipe. I’m seeing supporting characters, their comptrollers, kind of like audience surrogates: male Clockmaker, female Daktari, maybe throw in a romantic plot for the tween segment. The potential for these small remotes is just immense. Gentlemen, Zondbots may serve a non-combat role… but they’re about to conquer the market for us.

DAKTARIS (MÉDICOS DE CAMPAÑA)
Dak, short for Daktari, means ‘doctor’ in Swahili. This codename for the medics of the Nomad Military Force dates back to the very formation of the Nomad Nation. Apparently, a Corregidorian medical association of dubious reputation offered to serve a tour in the newly created Nomad Military Force as a loophole to avoid the legal consequences of an infamous patient contamination case. These doctors were subjected to a barebones combat training program and sent to their new posts across the many open fronts of the Phantom Conflict.
Unaccustomed to battle protocol, they shared an inclination to yell insults and obscenities in their mother tongue while patching up soldiers under the crossfire. This characteristic string of expletives became a sort of calming mantra to the injured, who knew themselves saved the moment they heard Swahili swearwords. To honor this tradition, all Nomad Daks have adopted Swahili as a sort of shared battle language.
BAKUNIN CLOCKMAKERS
Clockmakers might very well be the most valuable Bakunin contribution to the Nomad Military Force. They are combat technicians with a special ability to recompose, repair, rebuild, reinvent, and rethink on their feet. Their main function is to provide technical maintenance to assets on the field. Clockmakers have been known to undergo radical neural augmentation procedures, including memory-enhancing wetware inserts full of technical specs catalogs. Interface connections sprout from the base of their skulls to facilitate man-machine communication.
Clockmakers are as varied and eccentric as any Bakunin citizens, as made apparent by their peculiar looks and esoteric methods. As specialists in non-linear thought, they come up with forward-looking and even genius solutions to technical issues, but like all prototypes their patch-ups sometimes backfire. Ultimately, Clockmakers are worth their weight in gold to the Nomad military and to any other faction in need of an extra hand to help modernize its technology, so it would be a good idea to always try and capture them alive.
