Beyond our love in Corvus Belli for the ninth art, one of the reasons that drove the creation of Outrage and Betrayal (Infinity's manga and graphic novel) was the possibility of exploring the Human Sphere in depth. An adventure that went beyond the narrative, just like the previous Infinity books and RPG, that delved into the graphic part of the game. It was an opportunity to show more - both for us and the authors. These individuals became involved in these projects because they were attracted by the possibilities of a universe such as this one with so many possibilities that connected with their own vision and loves within the science fiction genre.
Outrage explores some of the moral and legal consequences unregulated scientific innovation (such as the Cube) has on society. This also allowed us to show for the first time how the Cube works - at least one of the models available on the market.

The plot of this manga focuses on the covert operations carried out by intelligence agencies through mercenary operatives and their contacts with mafia networks, which is still one of the obsessions of Victor Santos - the screenwriter. Aside from regular operatives, we have a diverse team of mercenaries that have been extracted from Infinity's own lore. The Ariadna Dog-Warrior, the Japanese renegade Oniwaban, Bakunin’s TAG pilot, a Nomad hacker taken from a Tunguska Black Laboratory, the Hexahedron officer who runs them, and the former Panoceanic operative with a past from which simply (and literally) cannot die.

This group will face Maras of Corregidor (1), with the mercenary group known as Druze Bayram Security and their elite shock Teams (2), the greatest villain in this story; Hexahedron (3), the troops of the Order of Santiago (4) assigned as deputy security detachment of a Circular; and Yu Jing's own Imperial State Army - which appears with the ferocity for which it is known (5).

However, that is something that can be seen in the game table itself. More interesting is that Kenny shows us for the first time how Circular works and their general appearance. As ships are something that we intentionally stay away from in the Infinity game, there is no better ship to showcase our vision than the Dolly Dagger (6) driven by our protagonists. Kenny even shows us how a hacker performs in a dogfight (7) in space!

Both Outrage and Betrayal take us on a journey through the Human Sphere. Outrage begins on a hunting ground in the Gaqbar mountain range (8), on the desert planet Bourak - only to move on to the icy Svalarheima, without losing the opportunity to show off the splendor of Neoterra (9), whose lights generate the shadows of history. Betrayal is focused on the jungle planet Paradiso, showing us action in the jungle, as well as a secret military base hidden behind a gigantic waterfall (10) - in the spectacular fashion of 1960s science fiction, or classic James Bond films.

In Betrayal the Combined Army gains prominence. We will see the brutal efficiency of a Morat assault, and the effects of the insidious Shasvastii misinformation mission. We will also be able to glimpse the relationships between the various species that make it up (11) the Combined Army and see that this force is not the monolithic block that may seem to view it as from the outside. Although there is no doubt that the plot focuses on Ko Dali - a true scene-stealer every time illustrator Agustín Graham Nakamura has her appear on a page. The questions raised by the authentic identity of this character, drawn directly from her background (12), are a constant in this graphic novel and reflect the problem of facing such a technologically advanced enemy and living in a society where the government and establishment try to shape our perception of reality. In addition, his portrait of life under IE rule is far removed from the usual texts tinged with fear and hatred that the mass media of the Human Sphere (13) usually produce, and which we can find in Infinity's books outside of the Combined Army chapters themselves.
The Infinity Outrage manga and the graphic novel Infinity Betrayal are two excellent opportunities to delve deeper and discover more about the Infinity Universe!
NOTES:
- One of the reasons that Maras - Corregidor's Latin street gang - appear in this story is because Victor, the author, loves them.
- Both Victor and Kenny were excited to be able to put in Thermo-Optical Camouflage.
- Kenny was in love with the design of the DruzeHacker. In the initial plot, it was planned that Arslan would die, but he gained so much charisma during the creation of the manga that his life was spared and he was able to become part of the Infinity Universe as a playable personality.
- The fighting scene was supposed to be a tribute to John Wick, and the authors intended the protagonist to kill everyone armed only with a knife, including a Knight of Santiago. I had to explain to them that if you are able to take down a Knight of Santiago and get away without ending up with your guts on the floor, you are already something of a badass.

- Our terrain partner gave us the 3D modeling of his Azure Dragon Attack Transport so Kenny could put them into the scene.
- Kenny made an extremely detailed shot for Bran de Castro of the Gunpoeon Shuttle and the Ship’s Logo - all to the rhythm of Jimi Hendrix's guitar chords.
- Aerial Close Combat.
- We love Kenny's buggy design! We use it as a promotional image of the manga.
- The design of the Hexahedron building is all Kenny’s idea after a very generic description that is summed up in: "It's a cube".
- The Iguazú Falls was the fundamental graphic reference I provided to Augustín, the illustrator, for the environment in which the Shuidong base is located.
- Augustín worked well with all the Morat forces– as much as that of the Invincible Army, which was the other main force in this battle– but it is worth noting the great enthusiasm of both authors that was brought about by the appearance of the Umbra Nourkias.

- The multiple layers of Ko Dali's story, its moral ambiguity, and the fact that it was a femme fatale with a spy background naturally fit the affiliations of Victor Santos's work - as you can see in his masterful handling and development of the character.
- "Your governments manipulate you and lie to you - don't believe them!" the IE tells the reader.
