Remotes are semi-autonomous support units, which can have different specialties and equipment. Having at least one remote in your army list can be useful, and even definitive for the outcome of the battle!
If you want to know the main types of remotes, don't miss the following classification:
Basic Remotes
At the top of your shopping list, they serve a variety of functions, and some of them will always be missing from your army:
Dronbot
Dronbot is an acronym for Drone Robot. These semiautonomous, auxiliary robot units can be highly optimized for a variety of tasks.
When SWORDFOR resolved to replace its ancient and now almost obsolete Yáogōngjù Remotes, it turned its gaze toward the Rebots used by the SSS. Nonetheless, SWORDFOR demanded a series of modifications to the units used by the SSS to adapt them to law enforcement requirements.
Yáokòngs are semi-autonomous robotic units employed by the Yu Jing military as infantry support. The key to the dazzling versatility of Yáokòngs lies in their modular design, allowing any model to be adapted to the specific needs of the tactical scenario with ease and speed.
Designed to engage in heavy firefights, they usually carry attack and support weapons.
Armbots
Armbot is the name of the PanOceanian Military Complex’s attack Remotes. They have been designed to carry support weaponry because they are lighter, cheaper, and easier to produce than a TAG but faster than any Heavy Infantry.
The perfect complement that combines speed and firepower.
Hidden in the permanent snow of the Huangdi plains, the Yáofáng will patiently watch for the enemy’s arrival, sound the alarm, and then deploy their weapons systems, opening fire on the enemy, who will be too surprised to return fire before they meet their end.
Sputniks can more easily defend an area than infantry, but for Nomad officers it is evident that these Remotes are at their most effective when their speed, firepower and shock factor are exploited in maneuvers that have them close the gap with the enemy, and deliver their payload abruptly and consistently.
Their rapid action response and firepower make these Rremotes the perfect complement to any of your Nomad forces.
‘Zond’ was the old Russian name for Unidentified Flying Objects, an apt name for the lightning-fast remotes designed for the Nomad Military Force. Meteor Zonds have been modified to add rapid aerial descent and combat jump capabilities.
This blister includes an injected thermoplastic miniature of the Meteor Zond. Thanks to its Combat Jump Special Skill you can deploy the Meteor Zond in the middle of enemy lines and expand your hacking area with its Repeater with little risk.
The fabulous winged mount of the Vedic god Vishnu has lent its name to the Special Situations Section Immediate Deployment Tactical Bots.
The Garuda's tactical profile is based on speed. Its main characteristic is its rapid deployment to any point in the operations zone, but once on land, its speed turns into a highly effective offensive/defensive element.
This unit currently represents significant advances in vehicular design and embodies a new technical development strategy for covering the high mobility, efficiency, deployment, and resistance requirements of the Section.
Nevertheless, the Probot, short for Prototype Robot, is still understood to be the first step in a new generation of multifunctional remote units.
Just like the Copperbots, their name comes from urban slang for the police, in this case “the fuzz,” which refers to the police radio static, a word that was chosen due to the electronic warfare and cybercombat devices these Remotes pack. Fuzzbots are a common element in any SWORDFOR deployment, the inseparable partner of every Bureau Aegis patrol officer.
The Evolved Intelligence, an alien artificial intellect, has created the Combined Army, an instrument of conquest within which the most dangerous races of its dominions are united.
This box includes 2 Imetrons that will afford greater versatility to your Combined Army and Onyx Contact Force lists.
The best friends of Doctors and Engineer. They are the hands that operate or repair from a distance so that their controller is not exposed to enemy fire when healing or fixing a fallen ally.
Med-Techs are adaptive bio-cybernetic creatures with hyper-rapid access to a vast library of medical programs for each of the races in the Combined Army, as well as an exhaustive database of military electronics and engineering programs.
Their role is to execute extraordinary rescue operations, immediate response missions, and in extremis hostage liberation actions. The bottom line is: they save lives.
Remote companions that act in unison with the controller.
Kiranbots
The Arjuna troops are ideal for close-quarters control of the game table, taking advantage of their synchronized Kiranbot and being able to take advantage of their Specialist Operative Skill to fulfil different missions.
Team Sirius was conceived as a special K-9 team with synchronized robotic units. As the mythological hound they are named after, once this detective squad scents prey, they never give up on the trail. Team Sirius is fate coming for you with a badge and a gun!
Their great speed and the option to use the motorcycle as a Synchronized Zondmate provides the Jurisdictional Command of Tunguska with the strength to tip the scales in your favor when the enemy outnumbers you.
And so much for our classification of remotes. Although not absolutely all available Infinity remotes are listed here, you can get an idea of the whole thanks to this separation according to different characteristics.
