The new box of the Jujak Regiment, the Korean-born Heavy Infantry which comes out this month in Infinity, includes Sergeant So-ra Kwon. Kwon is a character that nobody expected because she wasn’t included in the N4 book, but that is part of the strategy of making this wargame alive, constantly evolving, and not necessarily restricted to the release of new books.
The intention of bringing So-ra Kwon was not to be a game-changer but to create a character that would serve as an alternative design and sculpture. At the game level, she is a character who could provide a different weapon option to her regiment and greater precision and damage capacity than a regular troop. Also, she could serve as a proxy for any other Jujak, that is why we gave her a profile with a double weapon option. First, So-Ra Kwon and Cora are both women. Well, So-ra is not a real woman, but a fictional character. Of course, many believe that marketing people are robots wearing human skin so...
So-Ra is a Korean proper name, as befits a member of the Jujak Regiment, but it also sounds like "Cora". In addition, to this, So-Ra's surname is "Kwon", also Korean, and it is monosyllable… - much like Cora's surname: Diz. And if you change the first letter of So-Ra's name to the first letter of her surname (Kwon), you already have Ko-ra, which sounds the same as ‘Cora’. Well, well...
These are a series of coincidences that many won’t believe to be coincidences. However, there is another issue to consider, and it is related to the background of So-Ra Kwon. In Infinity she is described as a functional psychopath, who uses medication to keep her out of trouble, although she has no problem using violence against whoever bothers her.
